ACOUSTIC SOLUTIONS AND WALL COVERINGS
Interior Elements was commissioned by our long-standing client, Creative Hare, to deliver a complete acoustic and interior enhancement solution for a pharmaceutical workplace in Dublin. The scope included acoustic treatments, biophilic moss features, architectural vinyl finishes and full installation services.
The brief focused on reducing echo and reverberation while transforming areas of the workspace that felt visually underwhelming. From the initial site survey and concept design through to detailed planning and on-site installation, the project was carefully managed to ensure a seamless delivery with minimal disruption to daily operations. As a result, the project was completed on schedule, creating a more acoustically comfortable environment enriched with striking moss elements and refreshed surfaces that fully reflected the client’s vision.
Below is a summary of the materials supplied and installed by Interior Elements to meet the client’s requirements.

ON-SITE CHALLENGES
The project site was experiencing significant sound reverberation and echo, particularly in communal and activity-focused spaces. These acoustic issues negatively impacted speech clarity, concentration and overall comfort. In addition to improving acoustic performance, there was a clear objective to enhance the wellbeing of users, creating a more comfortable and inviting environment.
OUR SOLUTION
To address these challenges, we implemented a multi-element interior solution focused on both acoustic control and biophilic design.
TRAINING ROOM ACOUSTIC IMPROVEMENTS
We installed acoustic panels, a high-performance suspended system made from 75% post-consumer recycled PET fibre, engineered to significantly reduce reverberation and echo while supporting sustainable design practice.
- Sizes: 2400x1200 mm and 1200x1200 mm
- Colours: White, Ice White, Slate Grey
These panels were strategically arranged and installed at varying height levels to optimise sound absorption across the training room volume, improving speech intelligibility, reducing echo, and creating a calmer, more productive atmosphere.
CANTEEN ACOUSTIC & BIOPHILIC INSTALLATION
In the canteen, we combined functional acoustic treatment with visual and wellbeing-enhancing elements.
- Circular acoustic panels in 800x800 mm and 1200x1200 mm, in the same three colours (White, Ice White, Slate Grey), were suspended to address high-level sound reflection and reverberation.
- Moss feature wall was created using Forest Moss and apple green Bun Moss to add depth, texture and visual interest.
- Custom 10 mm acrylic lettering was installed directly onto the moss surface, delivering a bold yet refined branding statement that seamlessly integrates with the feature wall and elevates the overall interior design.
The biophilic installation enhances the space through improved acoustics, moisture regulation and the introduction of calming natural elements that support user wellbeing.
CABINET REFURBISHMENT WITH PREMIUM FINISHES
- Cover Styl NH39 was used to refurbish two existing cabinets during working hours.
This high-quality finish provided a cost-effective alternative to full cabinet replacement, extending the lifespan of the existing joinery while minimising disruption. The refurbishment approach also avoided unnecessary waste, supporting more sustainable project outcomes by reducing material disposal and the need for new resources.
